For Your Peace of Mind – Mesmer Hypnotherapy & The Law
Mesmer Hypnotherapy supports the ruling that by law, all hypnotherapists must state as clearly as they can that hypnosis results may vary from person to person and that results are not guaranteed. In the unlikely event that you feel you do not progress, we will review it together in a timely manner and either try different techniques, suggest a referral elsewhere that may be more appropriate (e.g. counselling) or discontinue sessions.
Mesmer Hypnotherapy is proud to be endorsed by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) for skills and qualifications that meet occupational standards and have positive client recommendations.
Mesmer Hypnotherapy also operates within Hypnotherapy Regulatory Forum (a body established by the now defunct Prince’s Foundation for Integrated Health) and as a consequence were finally established via the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) – set up in 2008 with Department of Health funding, when it admitted Hypnotherapy into its regulatory system on 1st December 2010. It is important to choose a reputable and government-vetted practice that you feel comfortable with, that also accesses regular supervision and has up to date insurance to practice.
We pride ourselves on our dedication and passion and they have been provided for your assistance. Anyone considering hypnotherapy may request additional references should they wish, for their confidence and comfort in choosing a reputable hypnotherapy service.
